Linda Stein had an interesting history. She helped to put a face to punk music in their early days. She eventually sold real estate to a wide-range of celebs. It’s not often that you read about a murder mystery straight out of a book or movie. It’s a little eerie. I am surprised there are so many details given out in the NY Times article (2nd story from the top). Especially mentioning that a reporter discovered a side service entrance which was accessible in a security-conscious area of fifth avenue.
And I found a bit of side drama here regarding the history of Stein and a NY columnist.
I felt like I knew her because I read about her often in New York magazine. What a terrible thing to happen.
