Fall TV status

TV Guide has published an updated list revealing just how many episodes of your favorite shows remain in the event that the stike continues.   I want to believe the strike won’t take that long.  The WGA deserves what they’re asking for.  It’s a proven fact that more viewers are watching online this season than ever before.  And if the network wants additional content the writers should be appropriately compensated.

Whether the programming gets down to bare bones before they ‘cave’ is anyone’s guess right now.  There are a few shows that haven’t aired yet (The Shield, Lost), but some shows are down to 3 or less episodes remaining.  Looks like The Office will be one of the first to go with only one episode left to air.  They probably were hurt by airing full hours the first couple weeks of the season.

While I support the strike, I think we should limit our time with the ‘boob tube’ and read, listen to or make some music.  That will be my pre-New Years’ resolution.  😉
