If there are two things we can safely surmise about Joaquin Phoenix to date it’s 1) he’s introspecitive and 2) he’s inspired by music. His interviews during the frenzy of “Walk The Line” reflect those facts.
Guess he’s turning to music to expel some demons – that’s according to Charlatans’ frontman Tim Burgess. Tim is working on the project with Phoenix as well as Alan McGee. Wow. I wish I was in Joaquin’s place! That’s a pretty unbelievable spot to find yourself.
The only thing holding the reigns on the project is the singer/actor’s perfectionist tendancies. That’s not shocking either. Let’s hope it’s not the actor’s Chinese Democracy!
