Status: Currently on an East Coast tour w/new release in the Fall via In The Red Records
This band stands out for a couple of reasons. First, when I got on their MySpace page I kept wanting to listen to more of their tracks. And second, they seem to naturally blend a few styles of music. And do so successfully. There’s a bit of a punk edge and yet they have a fuzzy shoegaze thing going on. I would think they translate well live whether you know their songs or not.
Their album which had only been available in a limited number will be re-released on CD early October. If you appreciate the c-86 vibe you should give this band a shot. And if you get to hear them on their current tour let me know what you think of their live show.
